What is a registered office?
A registered office is a London Address we provide where documents can be sent to your Limited Company or partnership. We allow official mail only, such from Companies House and HRMC. Companies House will send correspondence to the London Address.
Registered companies are required by law to have a registered address. The address is registered upon company formation, it can be added at a later date if needed. We also help with company formation and registration. We do not allow you to use the registered office address as a mail forwarding account, only offical mail from HMRC and companies house can be sent to this address.
When mail arrives at your registered office address, we can then forward it on to your location or you can collect the mail in person from our London Office.
Companies House will send letters and notifications to your registered office address, it is important that you receive your letters from our address in a timely fashion as large fines can be applied if you are late for filling company accounts.
We can help with the process of changing of your registered office address, we can contact Companies House and then re submit the new address on your behalf.
The main advantage of a registered office is that you can show clients that you have a prestigious London Address, by using our City Road EC1 address.
