Do you notify me when my mail has arrived?
We don’t notify you when your mail has arrived, however we can notify you if you have a special delivery or if you are expecting a special mail item to be delivered within a certain time period.
For example if you notify Capital Office that you are expecting an urgent or important postal item, we will then keep a note of this requirement, and when it has arrived we will notify you either by phone call, text or email.
A client is welcome to call our offices and enquire if you have any post, our staff will then check your mail box and inform you if there is any mail, and if there is how much mail is in your mail box. This is handy as it allows you to monitor your postal records and inform us how and when you want your mail forwarded on to you.
Our mail forwarding service does allow you to monitor your post, and we will notify you when you require this, but generally you will contact us to find if there is any post in your mail box. Alternatively you are welcome to pop into the office address and find out in person.
